The girls’ varsity team defeated Hamilton and Sherburne bringing their season record to 7 and 4. Tara Seigle, Brittany Gee, Courtney Tabor, Mickey Macner, Brianna Goggin, Courtney Green, and Katie Shelhamer were key to the team wins.
The boys’ varsity scored wins over Hamilton and Sherburne. Mike Szarek, Mike Pinto, Andrew Taverne, Cameron Baunock, Steve Bergstrom, Sean Rickard, and Adam Travis brought home the wins to boost the teams’ record to 6 and 5 for the season.
The girls’ modified remain undefeated in the CSC with a record of 11 and 0. They won their contests easily against Hamilton and Sherburne. Samantha Kraszewski and Rebecca Sergott were first and second for Poland with Mickey Blumenstock, Tempest Morrissey, and Kiersten Tabor all less that twenty-five seconds behind.
Wally Szarek finished in the top five on the long Adirondack course averaging seven minutes and thirty seconds per mile. Ryan Schmid was just 12 seconds off that pace for the modified boys.
